I love cats.

I think they are very charming animals and I admire their personality.

Free, independent and impossible to domesticate. If they want to do something they just do it. You can yell at them as much as you like, they will still knock that cup down with their naughty little paw.

I love their somewhat anarchic attitude and maybe I can relate to that. And I think that all of us globetrotters and free souls do.

Yes because us too, when we want to travel, we just do it. Even when they tell us “ok maybe now stop it” or “now it’s time to settle down, buy a house and start a family”. We think about it for a second but here it comes. Our naughty little paw that gets another flight ticket.

Yes but what does all that have to do with Morocco?

In Morocco cats are everywhere. Wild, rough, scruffy cats. They are the ones that really own the streets of Morocco. They pop up all over the place and sneak in your pictures making them absolutely unique.

So I started taking pictures of the cats of Morocco since my first trip to this amazing country.

I decided to capture different scenes of Morocco from a different perspective. The one of the fascinating feline world.

I have to say that selecting only 10 pictures has been really hard because all the cats of my album are absolutely adorable. But I chose those pictures were the cat is surrounded by traditional features of Morocco or by elements of a specific destination.

So I mean no offense to the other cats! It’s absolutely nothing personal! But anyway I know that you, dear cats of Morocco, just can’t care less!
